Maine!

My wonderful husband bought me a surprise plane ticket to Maine!  So to get ready for my trip and seeing family that I haven't seen in a year and a half I found these pictures to share from our last visit.  I'm so looking forward to seeing all of them and seeing some of these beautiful scenes again.  Enjoy.

Some history

This is Truitt way back on 2000 with my grandparents at the lake in Maine.  My brother took this picture and it has been hanging on my wall ever since.  It says a lot about my son.
This was taken on a visit to Maine in 2002.  Due to technological breakdowns it is one of the few baby pictures I have of my daughter.  I also don't have very many pictures of my mom so this is one of my favorites.
Cozette on the beach when we lived in Maine in 2004.
Same beach, same day, Truitt.
I found this one when I was looking for the others and fell over laughing.  I think this is when Cozette was 4 and we had lived in Missouri for about a year.
July 2008 Rogue and Xander were born.  That's Rogue on top.  They loved to snuggle like this.

Fall 2008.  Xander on the left and Rogue on the right.  My mom knit those adorable sweater!

Everyday I wish my kids would become more independent grow a little bigger, thinking that will simplify my life.  Then I look at these pictures and realize how quickly it is moving without me even seeing it.  I knew this would be good for me.

The beginning

June 2009
Welcome to Our Way of Things!  I am going to start with a little bit of history to catch everyone up.  My husband and I have been together for going on 17 years.  We have lived all over the country during that time.  I also have family spread all over the country and am tired of depriving them of photos of our kids.  After all there are five kids that we are trying to keep up with!  Kaelan is 17 and moved in with us 3 years ago (my step-son), Truitt is 12, Cozette is 8 and then there are the twins Rogue and Xander who just turned 2.  It is a houseful that's for sure!  I look forward to sharing with you!
